Addison is ONE!

(be prepared this is going to be long and have a ton of pictures!)

I can not believe our sweet little girl is one... where did the time go? 

On August 2, 2010 Brent and I's life changed in a way we never thought it would! Addison Kaye Penzo was born at 9:58, 7lbs 19 1/2 inches long. She was absolutely perfect! 

I never thought I could love someone so much. She changed our life in a way that Brent and I could not thank God enough for. We have enjoyed watching her grow and learn new things each and everyday. I am so blessed to be able to be a stay at home mom with her. I feel like I haven't missed a thing and I am so thankful!

As Addison is turning one, our year is staring over fresh. New year, new places, and most importantly learning new things! We are so excited to see Addison grow into a beautiful young Christian girl! I never thought a year could go by so fast. God has turned something that was unplanned into something so amazing and such a blessing. What a little miracle.. that I wouldn't change a thing about!

Addison- 

Daddy and I love you more than you know. I pray that we hold on to your heart and you see God working through our life. You are such a blessing, so cute, perky, loud, outgoing, and lovable!

We pray for you daily that :

-  God gives you love for his word. Allows you to know and understand it, and to follow it wholeheartedly.

- That early in life, God fills you with love for him, that you would love God with all your hear, soul and mind.

- God trains you to love deeply and empowers Daddy and I to model Gods love and compassion daily.

-That you pray continually

-God helps us as your parents to train you according to his word

-God gives you Godly friends

-One day have a Godly spouse or glorify him in your singleness and that he keeps you pure.

-That you are thankful and content

-God will shield your mind, heart and body from evil.

-Will grant Daddy and I wisdom and strength to raise you in discipline and instruction of Gods word

2 Months old!

3 months old

1 year!!

Addison is:

• wearing 12 mth outfits
• size 2 or 3 shoes
• size 4 diaper
• still only drinks 6 to 6 1/2 ounces of milk
• eats 3 meals daily- very messy!

• loves to take a baths
• loves to be outside ( wish it wasn't so hot!!)
• laugh a lot
• fast crawler
• standing a little on your own but not walking yet... which is fine with me!
• pull up on everything
• say bye bye, mommy, daddy, thank you, hi and recently learned Gigi! so cute!!!
• love the stairs
• still hate the car- unless you are out of the car seat and not moving!

• Daddy taught you how to stick your tongue out... this will get him one day!

•  love to drink out of a straw
• sleeping through the night
• have 4 teeth- 2 on top 2 on bottom. You have the cutest little smile
• take 2 naps a day. A morning one about 2 hours after you get up for about 2 to 2 1/2 hours and then a afternoon one for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours! This is mommy's free/ cleaning time!
• doing better with a sippy cup. We found one with a straw you like.
• you clap for everything/everyone
• going through the stage were we don't like the nursery- hopefully not for long!
• Love your daddy
• good shopper
• you kiss and blow kisses.... cutest thing in the world
• very friendly
• love to talk and scream
• wave to everyone we see- if we know them or not
• love playing with our dog marlee
• still do great with your bows :)

• love to dance- you are you mom's child! :)
• get bored easily
• love your grandparents
• think your uncles are the best
• snacks are great! cheerios, goldfish, crackers, and baby yogurt are your favorite
• You are sooo very loved!

A year has gone and passed, and I am very excited to see what God will bring in the coming year! Please keep our family in your prayers as we start a new year of adventure together!
