A day at the Zoo!

Last Saturday, we headed out to the Gentry Safari to spend the day!
It is a local zoo with all kinds of safari animals and farm animals you can pet and a fun drive through.

This was Addison's 1st time and she LOVED it!
 Checking everything out

 A absolutely loved the Monkeys!!
She would have stayed standing there the entire time.

 Chasing the chickens around ..

 This was one huge pig!

We had so much fun!
It was a great afternoon spent with my sweet little family.
So blessed!

Have a great Friday!

This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Week 12

Sunday Fun day!

After raining ALL week we took advantage of the nice weather this weekend!
Today, was absolutely beautiful!

Addison woke up with a fever this morning from teething, so Brent and I switched off going to church.
(It makes it so much easier that our church has 4 services on Sundays.)
After A took a long nap and some medicine we headed outside to enjoy the day!

Wearing our sun hats!
Watching Daddy work in the garden
We found her this chair at Walmart for $4 and she loves it.
Its just the right size!
After watching for a little while, A decided she needed to help...
Soon we will have a little garden full of yummy veggies!

After grilling out for the 1st time this spring, Addison and Daddy relaxed watching Mickey Mouse!
Love days like this. So many special little memories!
Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Week 11

Yes ..we do go to the park A LOT!
We do not have the best yard to play in right now and the park is right down the street, so it is perfect for outside time and we can walk to it which is a major plus!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Rainy days!

Addison had a big day on Tuesday... She went to her very 1st movie, The Lorax.
My mom and I thought we would be there for about 30 minutes and she would be done
...  WRONG..
 she watched the entire movie!
A was a little effy on the idea at 1st but
As soon as she started eating popcorn and the movie came on she did great!
It was so much fun and the movie was so cute!
It is so fun doing all these 1st with her and watching her learn and do new things.

Later that night it finally stopped raining so we took Deke for a walk and loved on him.
Addison has been having a rough time sleeping lately. She is going through this stage where she wants to be held every time she falls asleep... well at about 11:30 this little girl went to bed..
and woke up a 9:30!

Today,  since it was still raining, we went and walked around the mall to get some energy out and then headed to Cherry Berry, a local Frozen yogurt place for a little treat with Gigi and Uncle Sam!
She sure does love this place!
Giving Gigi love
and of course we had to stop at the water fountain for a drink!

We are looking forward to some dry weather the next couple of days so we can enjoy some of our Spring Break outside!

Hope everyone has a great Thursday!

Answered Prayer

As many of you know Brent got a job with Tyson a year ago after we got married.
We were so excited when we got the call that he was offered the job. It was his first step in the right direction.
Little did both of us know it was going to be working nights.... as in 10 pm to 7 am and then switching to 6pm to 2 am. For all of you with children, understand how hard this schedule is... we were having to keep quite during the day for Brent to sleep and then rushing around to have dinner ready for him before 5 when he had to leave for work.
This past year has felt like a whirlwind of learning new ways to spend time together and God defiantly taught us to be patient and flexible in sooooo many ways!

These past few months Brent has been applying for new jobs over at Tyson Corp.
So many of our friends and family have been praying for us during this process... mainly for Patience and guidance!

Last Wednesday and Friday Brent went through 6 different interviews for a new job.
And today he got the phone call......
HE GOT THE JOB as a International Sales rep.
He will be training to travel to different international countries to sale Tyson product!

When Brent came to tell me tears streamed down my face... The 1st job I was devastated and also selfish because I wanted Brent home with Addison and I. I wanted the "NORMAL" life.
This time the tears were all joy! God has taught me that not everything comes easily but trusting in him and letting him be in control all pays off in the end!

I could not be any more proud of him! He has worked so hard and achieved his 1st goal!

God is so good.
Right when we were feeling down and ready to give up he puts an awesome opportunity in front of us.
He showed us that anything is possible through him and we are so grateful!
WOW - the Power of prayer!

Thank you to all our family and friends for all the support!
We love yall!

Happy St. Patricks day!

Saturday was absolutely beautiful, so we took advantage of the nice weather and headed to the Prairie Grove Battle field to walk around and take a few pictures of Addison!

Backpack in hand ready to go!
Walking around with Daddy!

She thought she was so big sitting in the window!
( don't worry Brent was behind her!)

Sure do love this sweet girl!

Hope everyone had a great St. Patricks day weekend!
