Life Lately!

It has been a busy July and I haven't had a chance to catch you up on our life lately..

We have had lots of playdates with sweet friends..
We celebrated Uncle Kyle's 26th birthday!
Gigi, Addi and I made a quick trip down to Little Rock to celebrate great grandmas birthday!
Daddy and Addi built and painted a bird house.
We have enjoyed the beautiful weather with our top knot! :)
 Had fun at church
Got together to play with some sweet friends!
 took many baths ;)
 snuggled with mommy!
And celebrated Baby Saylor with some of my dearest friends and Delta Gamma sisters!

I cant believe July is almost over and our sweet Addison is going to be 3 in three short days!
We cant wait to celebrate this special day with her and enjoy new family memories!

Hope you enjoyed July as much as we have!

Keeping busy!

The morning is the hardest time to get ready when you have a almost 3 year old and I know with a new born it will be come impossible! ha
Addison is either asking me to play or fix something for her constantly.

I found the perfect way to keep her busy and it's fun, free and easy to clean up!
I took a muffin pan- filled each one with shaving cream and added a few drops of food coloring. Then put her in the bathtub and told her to have fun!
She loved every minute of "painting" the tub ..
And I got to take my shower and get fully ready while she played and I could see what she was doing. :)
Win win for both of us!

Splish Splash!

While Brent was gone in Taiwan for work, we signed up to take swimming lessons with some of our best friends. It worked out perfect because it gave Addison and I something fun to do every night... and a major plus it wore her out, so she slept great.
They were Tuesday- Friday for 2 weeks and we had a blast!
Our teacher was fantastic and the girls really learned a lot.
The girls looked forward to seeing each other everyday and so did Stacy and I :)
Can you tell they were excited??
Daddy came home just in time to do the last swimming lesson with Addi, which was fun to watch and a good break for me!
We were so proud of her for completing swimming lessons this summer and jumping off the diving board for the 1st time! She did better then I could have imagined.
I look forward to next year when Saylor will get to join in with these two girls!

Happy Thursday!

28 weeks

Pregnancy Highlights

How far along: 28 weeks 1 day
Weeks left: 11 weeks 6 days - almost to the single digits weeks.. can not believe it!
Size of baby: small cabbage 17in 2.9 in
Gender: A sweet baby GIRL... Saylor Brooke
Maternity clothes: I feel like my stomach has grown a lot these past few weeks so starting to wear a little more maternity but love that all my pre-maternity maxi dresses fit!
Movement: YES!!
Sleep: Leg cramps are back and the constant having to go to the bathroom makes sleeping a little hard these days
Cravings: watermelon and fruit
Symptoms: Braxton hicks have stopped for the most part- Im drinking lots of water so that is helping.
Best moment this week: pulling out some of Addison's old clothes for Saylor to wear! It will be so fun to watch her wear the same things!
Prayer this week: I just started a summer bible study with a few close friends from small group. We are doing a study called Stuck and it is GREAT! I not only have learned so much in the 1st week about myself and where I am "stuck" but want to pray these things over my children.
This week we focused on forgiveness. I pray that both Addison and Saylor learn to ask for forgiveness and forgive easily. One of the points I highlighted and underlined a million times was- "The more we experience forgiveness, the more we forgive." I pray my girls live by this and know that because of Gods loving grace we are daily forgiven.
Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven-for she loved much. But he who is forgiven little, loves little.

A fun Friday night!

Friday, Addison and I spent the day at home..
I sent this to Brent about mid-day and said "Guess how our day is going??" Haha

So after dinner we decide to get out of the house and go mini golfing so we could work off some energy!
The weather for this time of year has been perfect, so we are trying to take full advantage of it while it last.
We had one excited little girl she made it in the hole!

We had a great time-
I love Friday nights spent with my family.
And a major plus she slept till 10:00 Saturday morning :)

Happy 4th of July!

What is there not to love about the 4th of July?
Summer fun, food, family, friends and fireworks!

Ever year one of my parents good friends have a big firework extravaganza at there house the day before the 4th.
Addison loved playing with the boys and they loved her!

The 4th we hung out just the 3 of us and we had so much fun!
We did a few things around the house then headed to watch the fireworks at the naturals stadium.
 Sweet girl..
 loving on her daddy!

We enjoyed the show...
then headed home to do our own fireworks!
Addison was not a big fan of them up close..
but loved them far away!
I had a great day with our little family.

We are so thankful for all the men and women who served and still serving our country, so that we can celebrate this great holiday!

Happy 4th!

Fireworks at the crosses!!

Every year our church puts on a huge firework show for everyone in our community to come out and watch the weekend of the 4th of July. This year they said they were expecting 8,000+ people and they baptized 101 people at the feet of the crosses!

The weather was absolutely perfect! We met our small group for a little cook before the festivities began. I love doing life with all these sweet friends and all our kids! I am so thankful for the friendships I have made with each one of them.
We tried to get a family pic and this is the best we could get..
Ill take it! We are all looking at the camera and Addison is sorta smiling! :)
She was so excited to see fireworks!

My parents came up and met us a little later.
 Addison was ready..
ears covered and all!
She went back and forth between all of us during the show.
And repeated over and over... "WOW, it is beautiful!" or " I love that one, whats your favorite color?"
I think I enjoyed watching her face light up with excitement more then the show!

We didn't get home until almost 10:30 and this little girl was passed out.
We moved her straight from her seat to bed and she slept till 9:00 this morning! :)

I LOVE our church and I am so thankful for all the fun activities they host!
This was our 3rd year to go as a family and my how time has changed...
This was the only year we did not have a screaming baby! ha
