A Day Spent with Gigi!

Thursdays, my mom keeps Addison while I go teach. I love that I only have to send her to MDO one day and my mom is able to watch her the other... and it makes Addison's week to go do all the fun things she does with Gigi!

While I was teaching I got these sweet pictures!
She LOVES the park....
and the Ducks!
And chasing them! :)

After playing they headed to eat with Pop!
So glad she had a great day and even better a great 2 hour nap!
Happy Friday!

Monday night, we headed to Uncle Sam's 1st football game of his sophomore year at Har-Ber.
Addison was so excited to go!
After a great day at school all she could talk about was telling Gigi and Pop all about it, so she was so excited when she got to see them.

Hanging out under her umbrella blocking some sun!
Addison did not quite understand why she could not go on the field to see Uncle Sam and was so excited after the game when she finally got to see him!
Cheering him on with Gigi and Pop!
I sure do love this sweet girl!
Go Sam GO!

We had so much fun and look forward to all his upcoming games!
Go #35!

Hope everyone has a great long weekend- I know we are ready to relax after a jammed pack week!

I am so thankful for all of Addison sweet friends! Its so fun to have so many that are so close in age... it may be trouble in the future! ;)

Hope everyone has a great Tuesday!

** please continue to pray for our sweet friends baby, Olivia. She has had a hard day. She was put back on the ventilator and is still having siezures. Please pray for these to stop so they can move on with the healing process! Our God is a healer!

1st Day of MDO!

Today was Addison's 1st day of Mothers Day Out!
She did better then I could ever imagine! :)

Last night, we started out with getting everything ready...
nap mat...Check
Lunch.. Check

and everything ready to go-- Check!
I sat and looked at this last night... How can my sweet little girl be this old?
She is growing way to fast!

This morning I got Addison up and around. I told Brent he would have laughed at me because I cried twice before I left the house. We have talked about school a lot lately, so when we started getting ready she asked if that was where we were going.
 Love this sweet girl!
She told me that she did not want to take anymore pictures.. she wanted to play with roly-polies!

 "mom come on!"

When we got to school we started out like this...
... I was so afraid this was how our day was going to go..
And this was the best picture we could get.. She had no interest in anymore pictures!

When we walked down to her room... She ran over to the toys and was fine!
I told her with tears in my eyes I was going to go to my class. She gave me a big hug and a kiss and said bye mom!
It was so much easier leaving her happy then crying!
I checked on her a few times and she was having a great time! Her teachers told me she had a great day and had so much fun!
She even took a NAP at nap time.. I could not believe when her teachers told me she was one of the 1st ones out!

When 2:00 came, I could not wait to get down to her room and see her sweet face!
She was so excited and told me she had a fun day!
For having such a great 1st day we headed to McDonalds for dinner and a sucker for dessert!
She was so excited!

I am so thankful for such a great day for our little A!
God answered all my prayers that our day would go smoothly!
Praise the Lord!

Happy Monday!

Open House and Prayer request!

Today was open house at our school!
This is Addison 1st year to attend MDO and I have to say... I am a little nervous and sad- She is growing way to fast!
I hate that I can not be in there with her all day and watch her learn, play with her friends and see if she sleeps for them ( AHH!) but I know she will have so much fun and her sweet teachers will take good care of her!
( Plus she is only a few doors down! Maybe that will keep the tears few on Monday. )

Since I had to meet students and parents in my class, my mom brought Addison and meet her teacher with her.
This was their 1st day of school gifts from Addison- She was excited to give them to her teachers.
They are pens- and I hooked little tags to them that said, " So glad you are the WRITE teacher for me!" ( thanks Pintrest!)

Addison and Gigi heading to meet her teacher! She was so excited :)
My mom said she did great, which makes a mommy heart fill so much better!
She LOVES the slide in her class!

Her teachers Mrs. Cari and Mrs. Laura are so sweet!
I am excited for Addison and ready to see what all she learns this year.
Keep us in your prayers that Monday goes as smoothly as today and I have few tears!

Have a great Thursday!

Friends please join me in prayer for a sweet friend in our small group.
Stacey had her baby a month early last night. Her placenta ruptured and had to have a emergency c-section. By Gods Grace he saved both Stacey and sweet Olivia!
Olivia will be in the NICU unit for about 3 weeks. Please pray for Stacey to recover and heal fast and for there to be no brain damage on sweet little Olivia!
Our God heals!
