5 on Friday

Today I'm linking up with 5 on Friday

1. This week Addison and I were both asked by Emily to be in her wedding!
Matron of honor and flower girl-We could not be more excited! Addison should be a pro by December, it will be her 3rd wedding!

2. We wished our Pop a very Happy birthday!! :)

3. I was able to take a break from sick kids and go with Emily to pick out her wedding dress....
And she said yes!
Addison and I had fun making this for her!

4. I snuck out of the house with both girls this week to get more medicine and Lysol...
We have been through 4 bottles..
I may go get one more just to be safe ALL the germs are gone!

5. I have got lots of snuggles from Saylor this week.
So ready for both girls to feel better and get back to normal but thanking God their sickness are nothing major.

Happy Friday!
Enjoy your weekend!

Sickness go away!

So this past week, we have been quarantined in our house. It all started last Thursday.. Addison woke up with a fever. We headed to the doctor and she had croup! :(
She was miserable. Broke this mamas heart!
Brent was out of town for the weekend for work, so I was thankful my parents came and got Saylor Saturday so she could spend the day away from the sickness thinking that would keep her well..

But that didn't work- today I took Saylor to the doctor and she has RSV.
Ahhh-- I feel like this is a never ending sickness in our home!!

This is about the only way I could get anything done ..
Today I was thankful my mom came and got Addison this time, took her to lunch, a movie and to dance class. I don't know what I would do with our her living close!

So after 4+ bottles of Lysol, I am trying to get this house clear of all germs and praying God heals my sweet girls!

Today I'm linking up for 5 on Friday

1. We have a sick baby at our house...
A has croup :(
we are praying no one else catches it and she gets better soon!

2. We have been doing a reward chart with Addison AND she finally filled it up...
She is so proud and choose to go to build-a-bear! It only took her 3 months to fill it up haha ;)

3. I went wedding dress shopping with my best friend this week...
I'm so excited she is getting married!

4. This little girl has figured out how to put things in her mouth!
She is loving chewing on everything.

5. I sure do love these sweet babies!
We enjoyed our long break but look forward to school next week!

Here comes the Bride...

This weekend my older brother, Kyle, got married!
We are so excited for him and his new wife, Allison, and this new journey they will go on together.
They asked Addison last christmas to be their flower girl. We had practiced and practiced... I have to say I was a little nervous that she was not going to walk down the aisle. We all know 3 year olds have a mind of their own, so I had no idea how it would turn out.

Friday night, we headed down to Conway for the rehearsal.
By surprise, she did fabulous! She thought the wedding was for her and loved being the "center" of attention -in her eyes.

The big day... we may have bribed her with a few new games she could buy on the iPad... but it worked and I honestly think we really didn't need to because she loved it!
She did a great job and loved matching "the princess" Allison. She took her job seriously and was so excited to walk down the aisle without mommies help.

Before the wedding we snapped a few pictures...
This girl sure loves her Pop
 Explains their relationship perfect haha

 Mawma with Saylor
Gigi and Pop with their girls
 Mom and dad
 My hot date
Addison and the ring bear, Ryder. She loved that his name was the same as Paw Patrol

Both the girls were great the entire weekend!
When we got to the reception this little girl was sleeping..
the loud music didn't bother her at all!
Addison got to join in on the bride and grooms 1st dance.
And she even caught the bouquet!
Watch out daddy ;)
Daddy and his sweet girl dancing the night away!
The Bride and groom!
 My mom and I
 Gigi, Saylor and Nana

We had a fabulous time and wish Kyle and Allison the best of luck!
Marriage is not easy but is so fun and we pray they rely on each other and make God the center of their relationship!

Have a fabulous time in Hawaii --
We love you!

Merry Christmas... Better late then never!

I never got around to posting about Christmas... so now that we are 2+ weeks after I thought I would go ahead and post!
Better late then never right?

Christmas Eve we headed to our candle light service at church.
Addison sat with us this year and enjoyed getting to go up front to listen to the christmas story!
We got home and had a few appetizers for dinner, then sang "Happy birthday to Jesus"
Addison chose for baby Jesus to turn 8 this year!
We snuggled up and watched the new veggie tales christmas movie, put out our milk and cookies for santa, reindeer dust and carrots, read the christmas story and acted it out and headed to bed!
Surprisingly Addison slept all night..
and we had one very excited little girl!
We have always made it a tradition to spend Christmas morning with just our little family. I love doing this and enjoying making new memories with the girls!

After playing for a little while and enjoying breakfast, we head to my parents for lunch.
 Addison had fun opening gifts..
and LOVED her new mini coop!

After Christmas, we head to Little Rock to celebrate with my family.
Both my grandparents live there and the girls great-grandparents.
 Nana and Saylor
 Mawma and Saylor
We always enjoy our time down, since we don't get to see them very often!

I am so thankful for our families. We had a great break and enjoyed our time together.
Looking forward to the new year and many many new memories!
