The Joys of Motherhood

Last night we went to Samuel's football game. Addi always has a great time! She loves to be outside and people watch and what a perfect night to do so!

While waiting for my parents, I caught these on video....

It is so cute to watch and listen to her learn new words!

Well the game wasn't much a game so Addi, Mrs. Kenna, Gigi and I did a lot of walking.

She loved hanging over the fence watching everyone, especially the girls cheering!

My mom had a great idea to give her a sucker while we were watching the game to keep her occupied

. I let her hold her while that happened ha

She sure did love it! 

When we got home last night A was so tired she went straight to bed

and the disaster began this morning...

poor Addi woke up with pink eye.

We had a full day planned... play date with some friends from church, finishing up birthday shopping, Friday night out  and a birthday party and baby shower this weekend.  It all came to a quick halt. Oh the joys of motherhood! :)

So after spending the morning at the Urgent care because of course our doctor was not open today. We came home with drops and a few tears.

Putting drops in a 1 year olds eye is not easy nor fun!

So please keep our family in your prayers as we conquer this little bump in the road and that Brent & I dodge the pink eye bullet!
