Girls trip

This past week, my mom, Addison and I took a little mini trip to Branson for a few days.

Addison was beyond excited!

We met my grandma and a few of my cousins there for a little girls "vacation!" 

When we go there we headed to lunch. 

Addison was so excited to see Mawma. 

 Then headed to the outlet malls for a little shopping

 And of course had to stop for a ride on the duck!

It rained EVERY morning but that didn't stop us..

just put a little delay in our plans until the rain stopped!

 Some of my favorite shops in Branson are all the fun little Christmas stores.

We stocked up for Christmas and got a few ornaments for both girls.

And of course had to stop and take a picture with Santa! 

 Addison found this "dog" and LOVED it! 

I think she would have stayed and played with it all day. 

That night, my mom and I took Addi to the Dixie Stampede.

We wanted to go to a show while we were there and thought this one would be the most kid friendly!

 We had great seats on the end which were perfect for a wiggly 3 year old!

 Until she got use to all the loud sounds this is how we sat..

 but when the food started coming she LOVED it! 

 We had so much fun taking Addison to her 1st Branson show!

 We had such a fun few days but after being gone for 3 this little girl was ready to get home and play!

Our house was destroyed within 10 minutes!

Grape fest fun!

Every year Tontitown holds the annual grape festival at the beginning of August. Brent's family helps cook/ serve the spaghetti dinner and sales grapes, along with many other things. 

It's a family tradition of his that we added to our little family and go every year! 

We always see a million people we know and I usually always meet a "new" family member! Ha 

Addison loved it this year! 

It was the 1st year she could ride the rides all by herself.

Can't believe she is getting so big! 

We ran into Brent's cousin and their little boy so of course they had to ride a few rides together. 

Addison loves playing with Lucas. He is her running buddy! 

After riding a few more rides..

Going down the big slide ( which she did about 4 times) 

We got some yummy grape ice cream ( what I love and look forward to) and headed home! 

We had one tired and DIRTY little girl! 

Love making these sweet memories and can't wait for Saylor to join in on the fun. :)

32 weeks!

 ( missed week 31 because of a crazy week and Brent being out of town)

Pregnancy Highlights

How far along: 32 weeks 

Weeks left: 8 weeks

Size of baby: Honeydew 19 inches 4.5 lbs

Gender: A sweet baby GIRL... Saylor Brooke

Maternity clothes: wearing anything that is comfortable 

Movement: YES!! She is running out of room so her jabs and kicks are starting to hurt a little.

Sleep: Praying for a good nights sleep is a daily thing! God is preparing me for late nights I think. ;)

Cravings: watermelon or anything salty

Symptoms: Braxton hicks and back aches

Best moment this week: Hearing her sweet little heart beat. A strong 140. 

Prayer this week: I pray that God grants me wisdom and strength to raise my girls in discipline and instruction in the Lord. 

⁴ Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.

I am officially at my 2 week appointments and cant believe it! 

I am beyond ready to meet our sweet little girl!

Saturday morning started out a little unplanned...

lots and LOTS of rain, which doesn't mix well with a pool party!

Thankfully, where we had Addison's party they had a clubhouse for us to hang out in until the rain passed on by!

Addison had a fabulous time!

And I enjoyed decorating and getting everything ready.

By that afternoon she was passed out!

We are so thankful for all our sweet family and friends who made her day so special.

Happy 3rd Birthday!

Today we celebrated this sweet girls 3rd birthday..

I feel like it was just yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital! 

Where has the time gone??

We started off the day with the house fully decorated 

I thought A would be up early but she finally rolled out of bed at 9:30!

One sleepy Princess.

She headed straight for the gifts and begged to open one...

 My parents sent one to her so we opened that one to hold her over until daddy got home!

Brent took a half day, so as soon as he walked in the door Addison yelled "present time!" she had been waiting all morning, and for a 3 year old that is not easy, especially when you are looking at them!

 Her big gift was a big girl bike!

 She LOVED it after we bribed her to get on it. ;) 

and of course baby had to join! 

We then got dressed and headed out to eat..

at Chuck-e-cheese!

And of course we had to stop for ice cream before heading home!

You are such a blessing. Your Daddy and I are so proud of the little girl you have become and can not wait to see all the amazing things God has in store for your life. You put a smile on our faces every day! We love your sweet little voice, all the funny things you say, your great personality ... everything about you! 

I pray every day that you love the Lord with all your heart and put him above everything else. 

That you have godly friends and look to Jesus as a example on how to live. For your husband one day and that you love to read the word of God! And that you adjust well to being a big sister.
