Its beginning to look like Christmas

It is beginning to look like Christmas at the Penzo house!

 It has been a family tradition of ours to have a real tree every year. 

Growing up in the military, we moved a lot so it was always easier to get a real tree and not store a fake one. 

This is one of my favorite family traditions and we are so excited to share this with A.

So, last week we ventured out to get our tree. We found the perfect one, Tall and skinny - exactly what we needed for our house!

After letting the limbs fall out, Brent put the lights on..

And the decorating began!!

After pouting(this is what Brent said I did) because I could not get my wire ribbon to stay on the tree haha ...

( If you get a real tree the limbs are flimsy and you never know how they will fall out)  

we put all the ornaments on and it looks perfect!

 Addison absolutely loves it and says "treeeee" every time she sees it.

 This is another family tradition in our house.
 It is a German tradition- on Christmas Eve you hide the pickle and who ever finds it gets to open one present!
