Day 4 & 5

Day 4

Tuesday we woke up and headed to the KC aquarium. 

Addison had been talking about this all week. 

She loves fish, so she was so excited!

 They had a neat little pool where you could touch different sea life. 

 She LOVED looking at all the fish...

 but stayed away from the sharks!

 She picked out all the fish she wanted to take home with her and what she needed for her birthday.

( Brent promised her one as soon as she was fully potty trained...AHHH!)

Addi had so much fun and so did we. 

It was a pretty neat place!

That afternoon we headed back to the hotel after lunch, swam and then rested for a little while before we headed to A's 1st major league baseball game.  

 This is how we started the game... Addison was passed out.
4 days with no naps caught up with her fast!!

 After hearing the loud noises she was up and ready to go!

 The Royals stadium had so many fun things for kids.

 She enjoyed the little splash park

and of corse some mini golf!

 

 It was HOT... but we had great seats!

 

 Addison did pretty well. She made it to almost the 8th inning before we headed out!

Sure do love these two!!

Day 5
We slept in, went and ate at dunkin donuts for breakfast, then headed home!
It was a great week with just us 3. Brent and I enjoyed all the one on one time we got to spend with our 1st baby girl! It was so fun to watch her explore and enjoy everything. :)

I cant believe the next trip we take our sweet little Saylor will be joining us
and...
I cant imagine packing for it! ha

Day 3

Day 3

We headed to the KC zoo!

It was so fun. If you are ever in the area, you have to go! 

Addison was beyond excited to see all the different animals. 

 She loved the polar bears... which were putting on a show for everyone! 

 And of course the monkeys..

 and elephants were a must see! 

 It was pretty hot, so we took advantage of the fun rides around the park.

Addison loved the air lift..

it took you from one side of the zoo to the other..

 which was great for this pregnant mama! 

 We also enjoyed a boat ride 

 and a couple rides on the carousel! 

 We finished the day with a fun train ride.

This was by far Addison favorite thing the entire day! :) 

 After relaxing a the hotel for a little while we headed to the Cheesecake factory for dinner 

and to the swimming pool after!

We had a great day and by bedtime we were all worn out! 

Last Vacation as a Family of 3!

Day 1 & 2
This past week we took our last family vacation as a family of 3!

We wanted to do something fun with Addison before she became a big sister, so we decided to head to Kansas City for a few days. 

Addison did great in the car.
When we got to KC, we checked in to our hotel and went out to explore the town!

 Sunday, we headed to a few different malls to play and shop.
The malls were so fun with cute little play areas..

 and a fun carousel, we of course had to ride!

 We stopped at a few fun shops that we don't have around us...
the Disney store..

and of course the American Girl store! 

I was beyond excited to take A here... Brent laughed that I was more excited then her.

 

She had so much fun and of course we had to leave with a few treats and surprises for her upcoming birthday! :)

 That night we headed to dinner...

 And then to a local park to play!

We had a great 1st two days!!

23 weeks

Pregnancy Highlights

How far along: 23 weeks 1 day

Size of baby: Ear of corn 8.5 in 1.5lbs

Gender: A sweet baby GIRL... Saylor Brooke

Maternity clothes: wearing mostly maxi dresses/skirts and anything comfortable

Movement: YES! She is very active especially at nighttime and early morning

Sleep: not so great

Cravings: watermelon

Symptoms: restless leg - praying this lightens up! It has been horrible lately. 

Best Moment this week: Brent and Addison being able to watch Saylor kick in my tummy! We have one very active girl. I told daddy we are going to have two little dancers on our hands! :)

Prayer this week: Help me to train my girls according to the unique way you've designed each of them.
