What have we been up to?

We have been so busy lately with school, Brent was in China for 2 weeks, potty training, sickness and just the business of life.

Heres a litte catch up...

We celebrated Uncle Sam and Pops birthday..

 at Shogun! 

Happy 16th Birthday Sam and Happy birthday to the best Pop in the world! 

We LOVE you both!

We are potty training..

 and wearing big girl panties!

She has been doing really well and almost filled up her potty chart!

Chuck-e-cheese here we come :)

We had a fun play date at the mall with some sweet friends!

Enjoyed the pretty weather outside

Spent all day Sunday in the ER. :( 

Addison had a double ear infection. 

But our sweet girl is starting to feel better.

I was a single mom for 2 weeks while Brent went to china for work.

I have to say I do not know how single moms do it and I have WAY more respect for them! 

To try to make Addison understand where Daddy was we had a map of china..

Along with a calendar to count down the days until he got home..

She LOVED waking up each morning to add a sticker to the calendar and see where Daddy was in China that day! 

Every day she looked forward to the little time we got to talk to him and both of us could not wait for him to be home. 

 She was so excited to pick him up from the airport!

It was precious when she saw him coming down the stairs. She took off running and jumped into his arms and has been attached to him ever since he has been home! :)

We LOVE our daddy! 

Hope everyone is staying healthy... I know we are trying too!

Strike!

Monday, My mom, Sam and I took Addison bowling for the very 1st time. 

She got a minnie bowling set for christmas and LOVES it, so I thought she would love this as well....

and she did!

In fact her very 1st bowl was a STRIKE! :)

 She loved the dinosaur they had to roll the ball down.

 All girl bowling in a dress! 

Addison did great! 

We only bowled 2 games and by the end of the 2nd she was more interested in the food...

Then anything else but we had so much fun.

I love all the 1st we are doing right now!

She is at a great age to do new activities. 

Bundle up its cold out!

A BIG step!

Recently we changed Addison to a BIG girl bed! 

I have to say I was sad to see her crib go and to not have a "baby" in the house anymore.

Her face was priceless... 

She LOVED it!

 

Daddy read our bedtime book and Addison slept great her very first night.

 I am loving all these fun first!

We are also starting this...

It is not going as planned.. but hoping she picks it up soon!

*Our 1st snow*

On December 28th we had our 1st snow!

It was beautiful and Addison LOVED every minute of it.

Not sure at 1st..

 but when she reilized what it was she was so into it! 

 Marching around.

We didn't stay out long because it was so cold and we did not have enough clothes on to keep us warm but..

It was so fun to watch her play in her 1st snow and love every minute of it!

It was so fun to watch Addison grow and see the new things she has learned to do.

Finishing up Christmas!

Happy 2013!! 

Im finally finishing up my last christmas post..

Christmas morning Addison was so excited to wake up and see what awaited her..

 She was so excited to see her train set. 

Her face was priceless! 

 Then of course we had to jump right in to opening gifts and our stocking! 

A with all her christmas gifts! She is at such a great age and loved everything. 

After checking to make sure Santa ate his cookies 

And we had breakfast, we headed to my parents for Christmas lunch.

Addison had to open her stocking as soon as she got there! 

 Then came the presents.

 Closing her eyes with Gigi waiting for her big gift...

 Her doll house!

 Then of course she had to help Pop and Gigi open their gifts.

 We had such a great day and enjoyed spending it with family!

I am so thankful for everything God has given us this year! 

We are so blessed!
