He asked and I said YES! October 11,2010

Addi and I woke up this morning to Daddy coming in the door with a bouquet of flowers.. yellow roses my favorite... before I knew it he was down on one knee with Addison in his arms saying all those sweet sweet things... then he asked the question.. Of course tears streamed down my face... YES! He totally caught me off gaurd in my pj's and no makeup but it was perfect! :)

I couldn't be more happy. I am so ready to spend the rest of our lives together. Addison and I are so lucky to have Brent in our life. He is a great father, best friend, provider,and soon-to-be husband! :) 

Thank you for all the congratulations and support it has really ment a lot to both of us!

Our first..

This weekend Addi went to her 1st birthday party! After screaming for a little while then falling asleep.. she slept through the entire thing!
I couldn't believe how big Parson had got. It seems like just yesterday Christen had that sweet little boy and now he is one! She did a great job, everything turned out so cute and I think Parson enjoyed every bit of it:

This weekend was also Har-bers homecoming. Caleb went with a good friend, Rebecca... and they had to take pictures with Addison...

I cant believe Caleb is already a senior. He is growing up so fast!
Next time we will have to get a picture with Addi's Uncle Bryant too... He is a senior this year also!

Our Big Check Up!

Thursday, Addison had her 2 month check-up. Brent and I were not looking forward to it.. she was getting her 2 month shots. :( She ended up doing great. A scream.. tears from both Addi and mommy..  kisses..a bottle... Tylenol.. some sleep... loving and cuddling from daddy and she was good! I was so proud of her.

Dr. Lovell said that she was doing great. Growing right on track.. the top of all the charts! He gave us some new medicine to help her with her little tummy, so pray that it works and makes her a little happier!

Addison's grown this much:

Weigh- 11 lbs 11 oz
Inches- 23 1/2 long
Head- 39.5 cm

She is getting big so fast! Brent and I are enjoying every minute of it!

Update:
Recently we found out my Grandfather, Bobo has congestive heart failure. Please keep him and my Nana in your prayers. He has another doctors appointment Tuesday, so we are hoping for good news!

-2 months-

October 2nd Addison was 2 months old. I can not believe how time has flown by.

We are absolutely crazy about you!!

You smile and make noises all the time!

You are:

• wearing size 1 diapers
• 0-3 month clothes
• love wearing socks
• love having your hands covered
• eat 3-5 ounces
• love being outside
• light up when Mommy and Daddy walk in the room
• Know mine, Brents and Gigi's voice!
• want your way all the time! :)
• suck on your hand
• smile at strangers that talk to you
• love being held
• love cuddling with mommy
• love your all your grandparents!
• tummy time is your favorite
• growing growing growing

What I have learned being a mom:

• how to take a shower in 2 min
• do my hair and make up in light speed
• change a diaper and clothes in record time
• its ok to let you cry sometimes... even though I hate it
• patience
• being  a mom is the most rewarding gift of all! 
• God is SO good!

I couldn't thank God enough for my very best friend, Brent, and my family. I don't know what I would do with out them. God has blessed me with so many great things in my life and beautiful Family.

Addison's 1st trip to Little Rock

This weekend we took Addison on her 1st trip to visit my family in Little Rock. She did great! Slept all the way there and all the way home!
My Nana, Bobo and Pawpa had not met Addi yet so we took her down to see them... Of course they loved her!

They were so happy to see her. Please keep my Bobo in your prayers on Wednesday. He has to have some blood test done at the heart doctor to see if he will have to have open heart surgery. Please pray that everything goeswell

Saturday night we stayed at my Mawmas house. All of my moms sisters and there kids came over for Addison's "1st Party"!
