Happy 9 Months Saylor Brooke!

I can't believe in 3 short months we will be celebrating your 1st birthday! 

Where has the time gone??

Saylor you:

-Weigh 18lbs

-28 inches long

-Size 3 diaper

-Size 1 to 2 shoe

- 9 to 12 month clothing

-LOVE food and will eat just about anything

-drink 5-6 oz bottles

- Have 2 teeth

- sitting up but still have no desire to crawl

- smile at everyone

-LOVE to cuddle

-put everything in your mouth

- say Mama and Dada

- take 2 naps a day

-love to be outside

- hate bedtime but once we get you to sleep you usually sleep through the night

-Love your big sister

-have a sweet little laugh

- love to take baths with Addi

- love mum-mums and puffs

- splashing in the pool is a new favorite

- SOOO loved

Saylor, you are such a sweet baby. You bring so much joy to our family! 

We love you so much and can't wait to watch you grow!

While Daddy was Gone

Brent has been traveling a lot lately.. 3 weeks out of the last month to be exact!

While daddy's gone I try to stay busy and enjoy my time with just the girls and I. 

It's hard, tiring, lonely and did I mention tiring, but I know I will look back on these days and cherish them. I won't ever get this time back... So I am enjoying this sweet season of life and choosing joy. 

( Let me remind you it is 11:00 pm and I am laying on the floor in the girls room trying to get both of them to sleep as I type this.. But I am choosing JOY! Lol ) 

We have stayed busy this week with....

Summer bible study. It started back up and Can you tell the girls were excited to see friends and learn about Jesus! 

Enjoying a few days spent at the pool! 

Uncle Kyle has been in town this week so we have enjoyed him hanging around us! 

Pretending to be robots at library storytime!

Late night ice cream dates to this little ones favorite... TCBY! 

Trying to do my best multi tasking with bathtime.. ( I sent this to Brent and his response was.. " must be a Mom thing!" Hahaha) 

And spending some sweet moments at Gigi and Pops house. 

Tomorrow... TOMORROW daddy comes home! Yay! 

I know my girls are beyond ready to squeeze his neck! 

5 on Friday

It is officially summer at the Penzo house! We have been enjoying late summer nights, no schedule and lazy summer mornings!

5 things I am loving this summer so far....

1. It has been super rainy here this week, so we enjoyed a morning at our local library. 

I love that all our local libraries host different fun events!

2. Our 1st summer movie. Malco theaters have $2 movies in the summer! 

We love going AND Saylor did great at her 1st movie!

3. We have enjoyed late night bedtime snuggles in matching pjs! 

4. First Friday on the square. One of our favorite events to go to in our town! 

5.  Last night Addi got to enjoy a Daddy-daughter date night to chickfila and then a fun sleepover at Gigis!

happy 8 Months

Happy 8 months to the sweetest little girl I know!

Sayor is...

- Wearing size 6-9 month clothing

-size 3 diapers

-eating 5-6 oz

-weights 17 lbs

-Love your passy

- love my hair and have to hold on to it to go to sleep

-smile at everyone when we say cheese

- have two teeth

- not interested at crawling or standing at all
-say Mama and can almost say Dada

- sleeping through the night

- had our 1st ear infection

-sitting up

- LOVE food

-you absolutely adore your big sister, when she enters the room you have the biggest smile on your face!

-love your blankets

- give the best kisses

-very laid back 

- love to be outside and to take walks

- growing a ton

- love your daddy but are a mommas girl right now

Sweet Saylor you are so fun and such a loving baby! You have a BIG personality and we love that about you. We love you to the moon and back sweet girl! God has big plans for you! 

Addison 1st dance recital

If you follow me on Instagram, you know we had a big milestone in our family a few weekends ago! 

Addison had her very 1st dance recital.

I have been waiting for this day since she was born. I took dance for 17 years and I taught through college. So when I found out I would be having a little girl, I started dreaming of the day I got to be a dance mom! :)  Get ready for picture overload..

When we arrived she was eager to get her costume on and get out on stage! 

Thank goodness they were the 2nd dance so we didn't have to wait long but in the meantime we took some pretty cute pictures of all the girls! 

 Addison had so much fun with her sweet friends this year!

 Gigi snuck back before the show to see Addi all dressed up in her costume and makeup!

 After she rocked it on stage, Daddy came to meet us for a few pictures and to give Addison a special treat!

 Addison loved her flowers and puppy from daddy!

 After the show we met up with family..

 Addison got quite the arrangements of flowers!

It was so fun watching this sweet sassy girl dance at the same dance studio I did! I have so many fun memories and can't wait for Addison to have the same! 

I have loved watching her blossom into the sweetest little dancer since September. It has become Addison's favorite activity and something she wants to do everyday. She had great teachers and loved all her little friends she has made. We are so proud of Miss A and can't wait to watch many more recitals to come!! 

I pray Addison dances with Psalms 149:3 in mind!

Girls Getaway

Brent has been traveling a lot lately, so I thought it would be fun to take the girls on a little girls trip. 

So my mom and I packed them and what felt like everything we owned and headed to Branson for a few days!

Addison was beyond excited. She LOVES Branson.. ( sometimes I wonder why? haha) 

The resort we stayed at had a playground, mini golf course, and swimming pool. So as soon as we arrived Addison jumped out to play on the playground and then headed to the mini golf course in the 90+ degree heat!

 We did a little shopping and then headed back to our room and got ready for bed... of course in our matching pj's!

 The next morning we took the girls swimming. It was Saylors 1st time. She wasn't the biggest fan of the cold water..

 but they sure looked cute in their swimsuits! 

 My mom took Saylor back to the room for a nap and I got to enjoy some time with my big girl!

 After lunch we headed to Silver dollar city. We surprised Addison and when we pulled up her little face was priceless!

We had such a fun hot day and made so many sweet memories.

It was so fun just getting away with just us four and enjoying girl time! 

I look forward to many more of these fun getaways!
