Easter weekend

We had such a fun Easter weekend. The weather was beautiful and we had some pretty fun activities planned. 

Friday we had a fun play date with our small group! 

These kids always have so much fun together! 

Addison, Rahely and Jillian are all the same age. The top is a picture from 2 years ago and the bottom is a picture from Friday....

Can you believe how much they have changed! It has been so much fun watching them grow and can't wait to continue. 

Saturday we went to a egg hunt at a good friends house, Then headed to Saturday night church.

We had Easter lunch at a cookout with Brent's family at the park Sunday. Addison had so much fun playing at the playground and hunting eggs!

Then we headed over to my parents house. My mom had a little scavenger hunt put together for Addison to find her Easter basket. 

And to the tree house we went to find it! 

Can't wait to share pictures of the tree house when it is finished! 

We had such a fun weekend celebrating our risen king! So thankful for the promise of heaven and living with him eternally one day.

Girls night out

A few weeks ago our small group had a girls night at a local painting place- Junque 2 Jewels.

Our group choose to do spring door hangers and they turned out so cute and it was SO much fun!

The classes last about 3 hours so Melissa made us some yummy yummy treats for dinner. 

It was such a fun night with a great group of girls.
I am so Thankful for each of thier friendships!

Weekend recap

Friday was absolutely beautiful- so my mom and I took the girls to our local square to take a few pictures and to play.

We have a sticker chart for Addison and everytime she sleeps through the night/stays in her bed she gets a sticker. Well after a couple of weeks she finally filled it up! So Friday night we had a fun family night...and Addison got to choose everything we did. 

1st we headed to Atwoods to look at the baby chickens, ducks and bunnies. She begged us for one and promised she would keep it on her dresser ;)... It didn't work! 

After we headed to play putt-putt, one of A's favorite things to do! 

Then finished the night by eating ice cream at TCBY! 

It was a fun night with our sweet girls! 

Saturday we headed to a local egg hunt.
 Addison was beyond excited. 

Each egg was filled with coins instead of candy.
They encouraged that each child take a portion of the money they received in their eggs and donate it. We have been talking about when to talk to her about tithing -So Brent and I took advantage of this. We taught Addison all about tithing and how important it is to give to your local church. Our family does this faithly and it is amazing to see God fulfill our needs in more ways then I can count!! 

Sunday we headed to church. Addison was so excited to give her money in the offering! 

That afternoon we headed to a birthday party and then home to relax the rest of the day!

Happy Half Birthday!

Sweet Saylor... how can you be 6 months old already?

With baby #2 time sure flies faster then with the first. 

Saylor is:

-such a happy baby.. but when your upset you are UPSET!

Frozen Sunday

Our church hosted kids day Sunday... And what better way to celebrate then a frozen theme! 

We had one excited princess Anna waiting to head out the door! 

They had the cutest activities for the kids.

And our very own childrens director dressed up as princess Anna.. The kids LOVED it! 

 Addison was beyond excited to see here friends dressed in their frozen outfits and was more then willing to take pictures ;) 

It was such a fun morning for all the children and just another reason why we love our church so much! 

Spring break

This past week was spring break for us. I was looking forward to no schedule and some fun activities. 

Monday we hung out at home and enjoyed a quite day. 

Tuesday, we headed to the library for story time. Addison loves to go and it's a fun free activity that gets us out of the house! 

Wednesday Saylor had her 6 month appointment. ( blog post coming soon) She is healthy and growing! 

Thursday we headed to crystal bridges for a fun Art class. 

The kids got to make their own critter out of clay and decorate it. 

Addison told me- "the art was Fabulous!"

Friday was a fun day!

 Our local Jones center had a fun frozen event at the ice skating rink.

I had one very excited princess Anna! 

They had the the rink decorated with all of the Frozen characters while you got to ice skate to the Frozen soundtrack. 

It took about 30 min to get around the rink once and Addison may have screamed/cried most of the way...

But by the end she was having a great time!! 

This weekend we enjoyed the beautiful weather by playing outside while daddy worked around the house and enjoyed some fun wagon rides.
