Number 23 on our advent calendar was to make cookies for Santa! Addi was beyond excited and wanted to get started right away.
So while Saylor was napping we whipped up some sugar cookies.

Nutcracker ballet 2013
Every year, my mom and I have made it a tradition to go to the nutcracker ballet at our local performing arts center. This year I was beyond excited because it was the 1st year Addison was old enough to join in!
Addison did pretty well for sitting still that long for the ballet. We left a few minutes early because she informed us she was done.
but...We had so much fun!
The entire way home Addison told me how much she loved it and when she is big like me she is going to "do that!"
I look forward to many more girls nights and Saylor being able to join in, in a few years!!
Merry Christmas!

A Busy Few Weeks
I feel like our schedule has been packed with fun Christmas activities and only more to come in the next few weekends.
A few Sundays ago when we had all the snow, we broke out for a little Christmas Party with a few of my high school friends. HALLELUJAH.. all of us moms where ready to get out!
We always have so much fun with this group and love getting all our kiddos together!
Friday night Brent and I headed to our small group party.
Like our outfits??
I love doing life with these women!
We have so much fun together and I'm thankful for each one of them.
Saturday was a big day... we celebrated my older brother, Kyle, graduating from College!
We are so proud of him and excited to see where this journey takes him.
Addison got to open a few gifts from them and had a blast!
Sunday night, we headed over to Brent's Grandparents house for Christmas.
Addi LOVED what she got and we all enjoyed visiting with each other.
I am so thankful for this time of year.
Merry Christmas!

Baby Dedication
December 1st was a special day.
We had the honor of dedicating Saylor at our church.
By dedicating Saylor we acknowledge God's sovereignty not only over her but also us as parents.
We ask for prayers for grace and wisdom in raising Saylor. Brent and I pray we are good examples, we discipline according to Gods word and pray earnestly for both of our girls!
We pray that Saylor one day trust Jesus as her Lord and Savior, and that she relays completely on him.
That she will .... "Walk before God in the light of life." Ps. 56:13

Winter Wonderland
Thursday all the way through Friday it snowed and iced. A total of 10in at our house! We had one little girl that was beyond excited and of course had to go out every chance she got..
Brent brought home a gingerbread house from work one night for us to do.
I think Brent and I had more fun then A decorating it. She was more interested in eating the candy.
We have snuggled a lot by the fire watching Christmas movies... which I have to say has been my favorite part.
Made snow ice cream... which surprisingly Addison loved!
Saturday, we broke out of the house for a few hours to go visit Santa. Cabelas does free pictures every Saturday and Sunday from 1-5. .. and they turned out beyond cute!! :)
Addison was so excited and talked Santa's ear off about what she wanted for Christmas and was really interested in where his reindeer were! ha
The snow is absolutely beautiful and with the Christmas season being so busy, its been nice the weather has made us slow down, stay home together as a family and enjoy moments we will never get back with our girls being little....BUT I have to say snow day #7 today this momma is ready to get out of the house!!!
Melt snow Melt!

Look who's Back...
Thanksgiving morning we had one very excited little girl....
We had a fun little welcome back breakfast!
she wrote out where we were suppose to sit with chocolate chips...
And even brought a special letter and gift for the girls!
Can you tell she LOVED it?
We try to do fun things for Christmas with the girls like the elf and Santa but Brent and I always want Addison and Saylor to know the true meaning of Christmas- the birth of Gods son! Here is the letter Ginger wrote to the girls-
Addi & Saylor
Two if my favorite little girls. I am so excited to be back to celebrate Christmas with you. Most importantly to celebrate the true meaning, the birth of Gods son... JESUS! I'm here to help you ( mommy and daddy too) to remember the important parts of Christmas: Jesus, Gods love, and our job to share it with others. I'm so excited to be here!
Ginger
Ps. Remember to obey your parents so I can come back everyday! :)
