Letter to my girls

Sweet Addison-

I can not believe in two short days you will be a big sister. For three years now it has just been you, Daddy and I... and we have enjoyed every minute of it! You were such a unexpected blessing and God has worked in big ways in our lives since you were born. He has answered so many prayers and brought us so much joy through you. 

I want you to know we are so proud of you and can not wait to see the beautiful christian women you are going to become. I have prayed since we found out we were pregnant that God would prepare your little heart for a sibling. I also prayed that God would prepare Daddy and I's heart. I can't imagine sharing my time with anyone but you. I can't imagine loving another child as much as I love you but what God has taught me over these nine short months as we have prepared for your sister is that God blessed us with the gift of love, not only for one person but to love many with our whole hearts, as he loves ALL of us. And I know you will love your sister so much. 

Sweet Addison you are so special to us! I can not wait to see your sweet face when you see Saylor for the 1st time. I can't wait for you to teach her so many things. Daddy and I know you will do great and that God has big plans for your life! 

We LOVE you to the moon and back baby girl! 

Sweet Saylor-

We can not wait to welcome you. We already love you so much and I cant wait to see your precious little face for the 1st time. 

 You have a big sister that is so excited to meet you. She talks about you all the time and all the things she wants to do with you. :) I confess I am nervous to have 2 children to take care of but so thankful for your Daddy and grandparents that I know will be there to help. I pray that you are healthy and that labor goes smoothly. I pray that Daddy and I teach you the love of Christ and you grow into a beautiful christian women. I pray Addison and you love each other and grow so close. 

God never gave me a sister and I pray that he blesses Addi and your relationship and you become the best of friends! 

In two short days we will get to meet you and I am so excited!

Big Sister Bag

 I know with having a new baby a lot of attention will be on her, so I wanted to do something special for Addison when she comes to the hospital to meet Saylor for the 1st time. 

I put together a special BIG SISTER bag just for her from Saylor. 

So many of my friends have done this and said their kids loved it and it really made them feel special. 

And I have to say... 

I had so much fun with it!

 I started collecting little things ever since I was about 6 months pregnant from Bellas, Tjmaxx, The baby room, and many other places...... and came up with these little treats. 

**A Big Sister book with a special note from Daddy, Mommy and little sister

** Big sister candy

** Big sister bracelet

** a little craft set for days we need something fun to do

** set of 600 princess stickers { I know I'm crazy for getting her this but my child LOVES stickers! }

** Princess Palace pet { Addison has been asking for one of these since we downloaded the game for the iPad. She asks almost everyday for Santa to bring one to her, so I CANT wait for her to see this! :)}

I am so excited to meet our sweet Saylor but I think I am even more excited for Addison and her to meet for the 1st time! I cant wait to see her sweet little face when walks in the room. 

The count down is officially started.

Pregnancy Highlights

How far along: 38 weeks

Weeks left: 1 week left :) If I do not have her this week I am being induced September 25th and this mama is more then ready

Size of baby: Watermelon (19 to 22 inches 7 lbs)

Gender: sweet baby GIRL... Saylor Brooke 

Maternity clothes: ANY thing that is comfortable

Movement: Yes- She has officially ran out of room so her jabs and punches hurt! 

Sleep: this is few and far between

Cravings: nothing :/ food in general doesn't sound good right now. 

Symptoms: just uncomfortable and having lots of contractions ( praying she decides to come before next Wednesday!) 

Best moment this week: Hearing her sweet heart beat today a strong 130 and getting to choose her due date! YAY! 

Prayer this week: for a safe delivery for both Saylor and I. Also to enjoy my last week with only having one child. I pray that Addison adjust well and loves her little sister. I am going to cherish every little moment with her this week! :)

1st Day of KDO

Last Thursday, Addison had her 1st day of Kids Day Out. 

This is the 1st time I have ever left her with out me being there teaching and I have to say I was a little sad when I dropped her off. 

I love being able to have a little alone time and when Saylor arrives having a day with just her but it just means Addison is growing up and that much closer to school age. 

I am cherishing every little moment I have with her... it goes by way to fast!

She was so excited!

I lasted until about 1:45 and I had to go pick her up... I missed this sweet face! :)

I asked her after school what was something fun she wanted to go do... 

and of course she choose to go to Gigi's house and to see great grandma! 

She had a great 1st day and I look forward to a fun year!

The last days of Summer

I can not believe summer is over and our daily busy routine is starting back up again. 

We have a pretty full schedule with bible study, Small group, dance, Kids Day Out and a few other little things... Plus adding another little one to the mix!

Before we jumped right into the business of Fall, we enjoyed a few days of fun..

{Went to a Naturals game}

 {Had a fun play date at the pool with sweet friends}

 {Started up bible study and ended up matching one of her friends!}

 {Enjoyed outside time.. even if it has been 95+}

 {Played at Daddy's softball game}

 AND...

We ended our last few days before school starts Tomorrow home sick. :(

 Trying to get lots of rest and

 doing pretty much whatever she wants! ha

 We headed to the Doctor Monday...

 and found out Addison has Roseola and a chest infection. :(

So we are resting and trying to catch up on sleep to get better before the craziness of life begins and baby sister arrives- which my doctor said could be any day now!

A BIG day!

This past Thursday, Addison had a BIG day!

It was her very 1st dance class and she got to meet her teachers for KDO! 

She was beyond excited for both of these fun activities.

Daddy met us to meet her teachers and of course she would not take a picture by herself.. so he had to hop in with her! 

Her teachers are beyond sweet. 

They did a little craft about "All About Me!"

 Addison LOVED this. I am beyond excited for this school year. 

Her teachers are great and so loving. I look forward to a fun year and cant wait to watch her learn and grow.

After we went to dinner and then met Gigi to head to her first dance class. 

Addison is going where I took dance so it is special to my mom and I. 

It brings back so many memories of us spending many nights there and preparing for recital! 

I am SO looking forward to this and I hope Addison loves it as much as I did.

To the Dentist we go...

Addison has been talking about going to the dentist for a while now. I on the other hand have been dreading this little visit because I just didn't know how she would react...She is a little dramatic ;)

I finally called and made her her 1st appointment and little to my surprise they got us in the very next day, so we had little time to prepare! 

Before hand we watched lots of shows on the dentist and how they cleaned your teeth and what FUN it was! 

I enlisted my mom to go with us because I knew she would do better if she was there and if I had a little help. 

The place we went to was so cute! It had so many fun things for the kids to do and look at while they were waiting. 

Addison LOVED the fish tank!

When we got back to the room she was not as excited... the whole laying down thing was not her favorite!

 After a little bribing...

She let the hygienist clean her teeth and did great!

She did cry the entire time but let them do everything they needed to do!

The dentist came and checked her teeth and said everything looked great and no cavities.. thank the Lord!

 Can you tell she was beyond excited to be done and receive her prize! 

She even said when she left she couldn't wait to go back... ;)

Maternity clothes: I have about 4-5 outfits that fit and are comfortable so I wear them all the time! ha

Movement: Yes- She has officially ran out of room so her jabs and punches hurt! 

Sleep: this is few and far between

Cravings: chicken salad

Symptoms: just uncomfortable 

Best moment this week: going to the Doctor tomorrow, so looking forward to hearing that sweet heart beat!

Prayer this week: That Saylor and Addison will LOVE each other. I know that they will fight and be normal siblings but I pray that they become best friends and love each other so much!
