Family Pictures...

I am SO glad I did not pay someone this year to take our family pictures for our Christmas cards.

With a two year old that has her own plans it was pretty much impossible! 

Heres a few examples....

 oh.. just a little melt down...

 Can you tell she loves this? 

After about 150 photos we got a few that will work... 

My mom had to remind me that not every year our pictures will be perfect... This year may be the first! hahaha

Oh the joys of having a two year old little girl! :)

Thanksgiving 2012

Every other year we change off going to my families thanksgiving and Brent's families.

This year was Brent's turn and we headed to White Rock for Thanksgiving.

It was beautiful outside so we took advantage and snapped a few family photos!

We had a fun day spent with family.

Brent and I have so much to be thankful for! 

Our Lord and Savior who is there for us through thick and thin, no matter what we do, our beautiful little girl, wonderful family, a great job for Brent and a beautiful new home! 

We could not thank God enough for everything he has blessed us with... we are so grateful!

Lights on the Square!

Saturday night, we headed to the Fayetteville square to see the Christmas parade and the lights of the Ozark's be turned on! 

Addison was so excited this year. She is really into lights, trees, and pretty much ANYTHING christmas.

Her face was priceless as we started the count down...

and when the lights come on she was so precious!

 I LOVE this one.. She was in awe!

 Addison was so excited to see Mickey in the parade! 

 And we are very thankful for a tall Daddy to help us see over the crowd of people!

We had so much fun and it was such a special night to make new memories with my sweet family. 

Its a fun little christmas tradition!

week 46

A Shower for Westin!

Friday night, I had the honor of hosting a couples baby shower at our house for one of Brent and I's best friends, Stacy and Alex.

We invited our small group and had a blast! 

Since baby Westin is due close to Christmas, I got to have fun with a few Christmas decorations!

 The diapers were hung by the fire with care...

Westin's room is a Safari theme so we used that for the shower!

We had fun caramel covered apples with toppings..

 cupcakes...

 and all the things Stacy has craved during pregnancy! 

My sweet friend Shannon helped host the shower...

and the happy couple!

After eating we played a few games!

 Toilet paper diapers! 

 Then we played- Guess that Baby food?

We laughed until we cried with this game! 

We had so much fun throwing this shower!

We wish Stacy and Alex the very best and cant wait to meet this new little bundle of joy. 

I couldn't ask for a better friend!
