Updates on our life!

Though all the stuff that has been going on in my life right now my sweet friends threw Brent and I our 1st wedding shower. The girls did an absolute amazing job and I had so much fun seeing all my sweet sisters again.

Updates on our life!

Wednesday was my littlest brother, Samuels, 14th birthday. I cant believe how time flies!!

Thursday we headed back down to Little Rock for my Bobo's burial. It was a beautiful service. They presented my Nana with the American flag while playing taps. It broke my heart to see him but knowing he is in a better place made it so much better. As the service ended huge snow flakes began to fall... my Bo's favorite- it was a good ending to a very sad day. We love and miss you Bobo!

This was also the 1st time I have been away from Addison over night. Brent stayed home with her while we went to Little Rock to be with family. The plan was to come back late Thursday but due to snow we got stuck! That was so hard but I knew she was in great hands. Addi and Daddy had a great bonding time together! :)

Wedding- AHHH I can not believe it is almost to the month count down and Addi's 6mth birthday!!

I am beyond excited! Cant wait to finish our house stuff and spend every day there with my sweet family. 

Tomorrow is also my Dad's Birthday! I couldnt have asked for a more supportive, giving, caring, Godly and loving father. He is a great grandfather and wonderful dad to Addison and I!

Miss me.. but let me go

This past weekend and week have been one of hardest I have ever faced. My sweet sweet grandfather, Bobo, went to be with the Lord early Saturday morning. After several months of congestive heart failure, God decided it was time to call him home. I pray for strength, love, encouragement, patience and understanding for my family.

My Bobo was one of the kindest, most caring Godly men I know. He was my dads very best friend, amazing husband to my Nana, a great father to his 3 children, a wonderful grandfather and a great great-grandfather to our sweet Addison. It brings tears to my eyes talking about him but knowing he is well, can speak, walk and is with our father brings me comfort.

At his Memorial they played a song Miss me, but let me go. With never being been through something like this this was hard for me to grasp at first, but God has really spoken to me..... Miss him but let him go because this is not goodbye but see you later, when one day we will all be in the same place together again. My heart breaks for my family but we are relying on God to be our rock and refuge in time of need.

The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and  my salvation, my stronghold.

Exciting News!!

Brent and I have some very excited news and a answered prayer to share.....

We found a place to live!

I could not be more excited to start this new adventure. Its so amazing to see God answer your prayers when you feel like nothing is right!

We found a 2 bedroom 21/2 bath town-home in Farmington. I could not picture anything better for our 1st home together as a family! 

Decorating and painting here I come!! :)

2 months and counting....

I can not believe we have less then 2 months left till we get married!! Soo little time and still so much to do!

I am having so much fun  planning and getting everything ready- a little stressful but still worth it!

I can not wait to marry the man of my dreams- my very best friend and be Mrs. Penzo!

5 months old!

Busy..busy..busy I have been these past couple of weeks with wedding planning and also the holidays I havent been able to blog about Addison being 5 MONTHS OLD!!

Every month I say I cant believe it has been that long but it really just seems like I just had her! Time sure does fly!

She is getting so fun- her personality is really starting to show! She is growing like a weed and changing everyday!

I am:

• laughing out loud!
• smiling at everyone
• light up when daddy and mommy walk in the room
• wearing a size 2 diaper
• 3 to 6 mth clothes
• size 1 shoe
• eating 4 to 5 oz
• love juice
• starting baby food- I like carrots!
• still not sleeping through the night every night :( but look so cute in your bed

• Love your bouncy seat!

•  growing growing growing
• showing so much personality 
• love to scream
• very very very loud!
• love to be outside

• getting way to big way to fast
• listen to music every night before bed
• like mommy to read to you
• love mommy and daddys kisses
• love your stroller
• still hate the car- getting a little better during the day but not at night!
• have those big beautiful blue eyes!

 I couldn't imagine my life with out this sweet baby girl. I thank God everyday for blessing us with the most precious child in the world.
Addison- daddy and I love you more then you could ever imagine. We cant wait to watch you grow into a beautiful godly little girl!

On the Road!

This weekend we took our 1st Family trip to Little Rock. Our sweet baby slept the entire way there and the entire way back! Such a blessing because we do not like the car!

Brent and I had fun visiting and spending time with family. New Years eve we went over to my Aunt Linda's house to visit and bring in the new year but by about 11:50 pm Addison had enough- so we loaded her up in the car and wished each other New Years when driving in my Grandmothers house.

Saturday we spent the day with my dads parents- Nana and Bobo. Of course everywhere we go Addison is the center of attention and got a million more toys. ( my room looks like toys-r-us exploded in it!)

Addison 1st New Year was great! We got to spend it with the people we love most- Family!
So Glad God has blessed us with wonderful family's!

This year Brent,  Addison, and I have so much to look forward to. God truely blessed us with the best gift of all in 2010 and I cant wait to see what is to come in 2011.
